Terms of Service

Effective date: October 5, 2026

These terms are an agreement between you and Liam Olse ("we", "us"), who runs ArchiveTracker at archivetracker.app (the "service"). By creating an account or subscribing, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.

Who can use ArchiveTracker

ArchiveTracker is offered only to people who live in the United States and are at least 18 years old. Each account is for one person. Don't use the service if either of these isn't true for you, and don't try to get around the US-only restriction.

What ArchiveTracker is

ArchiveTracker is a paid subscription that shows a feed of new listings for a selected list of fashion brands. The listings come from four Japanese second-hand marketplaces: Mercari (including Mercari Shops), Rakuma, Yahoo! Auctions and Yahoo! Flea Market.

You can filter the feed by brand, garment type and price, and save listings. You can open any listing through a third-party buying service of your choice: Buyee (the default), ZenMarket, FromJapan or Neokyo. Each listing gets a short English title that our own software builds automatically from the seller's original listing. Where the seller states the item's condition or size, we show it as a short label. Prices are shown as approximate US dollar amounts.

What ArchiveTracker is not

We are not the seller of any item, and we do not sell, buy, hold, ship or inspect anything. We are not a marketplace, an auction house, a buying service or your agent. You cannot buy anything from us except the subscription itself.

We are not affiliated with, or endorsed by, any of the marketplaces, buying services or brands shown in the service. Their names and trademarks belong to their owners. We use those names only to identify where a listing comes from or what it is.

About the listings

Every listing is created by an independent seller on a third-party marketplace. We show listing information as we found it, and it may be wrong, incomplete or out of date. An item may already be sold, withdrawn or changed by the time you see it.

We make no claims about any item. That includes its authenticity, brand, era or age, condition, size, value or price. It also includes whether the item can lawfully be imported into the United States.

The brand shown for a listing is decided by automated matching and can be wrong. The English titles, and the condition and size labels, are produced automatically from the seller's own text. They are simplified, may leave out details, and can be inaccurate. The original listing on the marketplace is what counts.

Dollar prices are estimates. We convert them from yen using published reference exchange rates. They do not include the buying service's fees, domestic or international shipping, customs duties or taxes. The amount you actually pay is set by the buying service and the seller.

Always check the original listing, the seller and the buying service's terms yourself before you buy. Any purchase you make is your own decision and your own risk.

Third-party buying services

Buyee, ZenMarket, FromJapan and Neokyo are independent companies. When you open a listing through one of them, you leave ArchiveTracker. Your use of that service is governed by its own terms, fees and privacy policy, and any purchase is a contract between you and that service or the seller, not us.

We are not responsible for a buying service's or a seller's actions, fees, delays, shipping, returns or refunds, or for any dispute you have with them. We do not receive payment from the buying services for sending you to them.

The "Search with Google Lens" link sends the listing's photo address to Google. Google is also an independent third party.

Your subscription, price and automatic renewal

ArchiveTracker costs US $20 per month and renews automatically every month until you cancel. You can cancel any time in Settings, as described below. Sales tax is added where the law requires it, based on your billing address, and shown before you pay.

When you subscribe, you authorize us, through our payment processor Stripe, to charge your payment method US $20 (plus sales tax, if any is shown when you pay) at the start of every monthly billing period. Your billing period starts on the day you subscribe. Each renewal is charged on the same day of the month, or the closest day when a month is shorter.

Your subscription keeps renewing, and you keep being charged, until you cancel. You can cancel at any time, online, as described below.

Payments are handled by Stripe. We never see or store your full card number. Stripe emails you receipts, and it emails you if a payment fails.

If we change the price, we will email you at least 30 days before the change takes effect. The new price applies from your next billing period after that date. You can cancel before then if you don't want to continue at the new price.

If a payment fails

If a renewal payment fails, you keep access for 3 days while you update your payment details. After 3 days, access is paused until the payment goes through.

Stripe retries the payment automatically for a limited time. If a retry succeeds, your access resumes, but the billing period is not extended. If every retry fails, your subscription is cancelled.

You can update your payment details at any time from the subscription page.

How to cancel

You can cancel at any time, online, without contacting us. Sign in, open Settings, choose "Manage subscription" and then "Cancel subscription". You can also email support@archivetracker.app and ask us to cancel for you.

When you cancel, the cancellation takes effect at the end of your current paid month. You keep full access until then, and you will not be charged again.

Refunds

We do not give partial or pro-rated refunds for the rest of a billing period after you cancel. We do refund charges made in error, such as a duplicate charge or a charge after a cancellation you can show you made. The Refund and Cancellation section below has the details.

Your account

You sign in with a one-time code that we email to you. Keep your email account secure, because anyone who can read your email can sign in as you. Don't share your account or your sign-in codes with anyone. Tell us at support@archivetracker.app if you think someone else has used your account.

Acceptable use

Use ArchiveTracker only for your own personal shopping research. Do not:

copy, scrape, crawl or download the feed, or access it with bots, scripts or other automated tools;

resell, republish or redistribute the feed or any part of it, or use it to build a competing product;

share your account, or let other people use it;

try to get around the US-only restriction, the sign-in, the payment checks or any other security or usage limit;

interfere with the service, overload it, or probe it for weaknesses;

reverse engineer the service, except where the law allows it;

use the service for anything unlawful.

We may suspend or close an account that breaks these rules. If we close your account for breaking them, we do not refund the current period.

Content and intellectual property

The ArchiveTracker service, its design and its software belong to us. While your subscription is active, we give you a personal, non-transferable, revocable right to use the service under these terms.

Listing photos, titles and descriptions belong to the sellers, the marketplaces or their licensors. We show them only so that you can find and evaluate listings.

Changes to the service

The service may change over time. We may add or remove brands, marketplaces, buying services, filters or features. We may also pause the service for maintenance.

We don't promise that the service will always be available or error-free, or that any particular listing will appear in your feed. If we decide to close the service permanently, we will tell you by email and refund the unused part of your current billing period.

Disclaimer

To the extent the law allows, the service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied. That includes warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy and non-infringement.

Limitation of liability

To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost data or lost savings. We are not liable for any loss arising from an item, a seller, a marketplace or a buying service, or from any purchase you make.

Our total liability for any claim about the service is limited to the amount you paid us for the service in the 12 months before the claim.

Some states don't allow some of these limits. In those states, they apply only as far as the law allows.

Indemnity

If someone brings a claim against us because you broke these terms or misused the service, you agree to cover our reasonable losses and costs from that claim, to the extent the law allows.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute will be handled in the state or federal courts located in Texas, unless the law of the state where you live gives you the right to bring it elsewhere. Before going to court, please email support@archivetracker.app so we can try to resolve the problem informally.

Notice for California residents

Under California Civil Code Section 1789.3, California users are entitled to this notice. The Complaint Assistance Unit of the Division of Consumer Services of the California Department of Consumer Affairs can be contacted in writing at 1625 North Market Blvd., Suite N 112, Sacramento, CA 95834, or by telephone at (916) 445-1254 or (800) 952-5210.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. When we do, we will post the new version here with a new effective date. If a change materially affects your rights or your subscription, we will email you before it takes effect. If you keep using the service after the change takes effect, you accept the new terms. If you don't accept them, you can cancel.

Refund and Cancellation

Effective date: October 5, 2026

ArchiveTracker costs US $20 per month and renews automatically every month until you cancel. You can cancel any time in Settings. Sales tax is added where the law requires it, based on your billing address, and shown before you pay.

How to cancel: sign in, open Settings, choose "Manage subscription" and then "Cancel subscription". This opens our payment processor Stripe's secure subscription page, where you can confirm the cancellation. You can also email support@archivetracker.app and we will cancel for you.

When cancellation takes effect: at the end of the month you have already paid for. You keep full access until then, and you will not be charged again. You can resubscribe at any time.

Refunds: We do not give partial or pro-rated refunds for the rest of a billing period after you cancel. We do refund charges made in error, such as a duplicate charge or a charge after a cancellation you can show you made.

Charges made in error: if you were charged twice, or charged after you cancelled, email support@archivetracker.app with the date and amount of the charge. We will refund the mistaken charge to the original payment method. When we refund a charge, access paid for by that charge may end straight away.

Failed payments: if a renewal payment fails, you keep access for 3 days while you update your payment details. After that, access is paused until the payment goes through. If Stripe's automatic retries all fail, the subscription is cancelled and you are not charged again.

If we close the service: we will email you, and we will refund the unused part of your current billing period.

Disputed charges: please contact us at support@archivetracker.app before disputing a charge with your bank, so that we can fix the problem quickly. While a payment dispute is open, access to the account is paused.
